'Arid Earth' is a Mixed Media artwork featuring a landscape of contrast and texture. Upon the canvas, there are black, branching gemstones of Tourmaline, set amongst a crackled earth and dusky-pink sky.

This piece evokes the rich themes of sunset, breath, desert, summer, expanse, and flora, that are found in many Australian landscapes. 'Arid Earth' sits in a deep frame, allowing it to be hung on the wall or placed standing on its own.
