Hand carved in my workshop from eucalyptus burl harvested from a fallen (dead) tree and will add a touch of the Australian outback to your home.
Found in the Sandy Hollow region of NSW, this bowl measures 68 cm x 58 cm x 12 cm and weighs 7.1 kg.
The bowl was carved in line with the natural curve of the wood.
The outside of the burl has been smoothed and polished but retains its natural features.
The bowl was finished using Danish oil, giving it a matt finish that is soft and smooth to touch.
