Hand carved in my workshop from eucalyptus burl harvested from a fallen (dead) tree.
Measuring 75 cm x 15 cm x 54 cm and weighing 18 kg, this bowl will add a touch of the Australian outback to your home or your meeting room.
The bowl was carved in line with the natural curve of the wood.
The outside of the burl has been smoothed and polished but retains its natural features. The bowl was finished using Danish oil, giving it a matt finish that is soft and smooth to touch.
