Handmade Soap

We have carefully formulated our soap enriched with nutrients such as Coconut Oil, Shea Butter, Olive Oil and Indigenous Plant powders. These natural soaps are handmade using the traditional cold process method, combining plant-based skin loving oils and butters for a wonderful clean, they produce a nice lather and are great for all skin types. Our base recipe of lush, nourishing, moisturizing butters and oils combined with Native Plant powders for gentle exfoliation and their health benefit properties produce an amazing soap!

So if you're looking for a bar of premium handmade soap without unnecessary fragrances, dyes, or whatever, then you've come to the right place. Fluffy nice lather, silky smooth glide over your skin, with the addition of Native Plant powders for light exfoliation. And as always, our bars have a host of wonderful oils that will leave your skin smooth, soft and happy.

Your skin is your largest organ. And as such, it can soak in an awful lot of toxins and chemical – choose natural ingredients for your skin!

We have all these native plants, natural plant powders, oil and butters from our good earth and that is why we use them in our skincare range and in our soap making. Unlike commercial soaps, where the glycerin is removed and sold as a separate by-product, homemade soap retains the glycerine, which is very moisturising. Glycerine is made when the lye reacts with the fats and remains in our handmade soap!

Take a step away from the norm and try Naturalie's native plant powder soap range - perfect!

Bunya Nut (Araucaria bidwillii) - The cultural connection of the Bunya pine to Aboriginal Australians is very powerful. The Bunya Mountains in Southeast Qld used to host massive gatherings of Aboriginal groups. People came to visit Bunya pines and feasted on the nuts in their abundant cones. Tribal groups would travel for hundreds of kilometres to come for gatherings, do tribal marriages, dispute differences and trade. A lot of the groups would camp in the foothills and then travel up the mountain for ceremonies and corroborees.

Lemon Myrtle (Backhousia citriodora) - Indigenous Australians have long used lemon myrtle, both in cuisine and as a healing plant. The oil has the highest citral purity; typically higher than lemongrass. A study in 2003 which investigated the effectiveness of different preparations of lemon myrtle against bacteria and fungi concluded that the plant had potential as an antiseptic or as a surface disinfectant, or as an anti-microbial food additive. The oil is a popular ingredient in health care and cleaning products, especially soaps, lotions, skin-whitening preparations and shampoos.

Riberry (Syzygium luehmannii) - is a medium-sized coastal rainforest tree native to Australia. Common names include riberry, small leaved lilly pilly, cherry satinash, cherry alder, or clove lilli pilli. It has been popular as a gourmet bushfood since the early 1980s and is commercially cultivated on a small-scale basis.
