Published in 1811, Jane Austen's much-loved novel Sense and Sensibility tells the story of the Dashwood sisters, Elinor and Marianne. The novel follows the young women to their new home with their widowed mother, a meagre cottage on the property of a distant relative, where they experience love, romance and heartbreak. Sensible Elinor is charmed by the quiet, bumbling goodness of Edward, while passionate Marianne is swept off her feet by the dashing and mysterious Willoughby....but the path of true love is rarely straight.
This novel's first print run sold out and it has been in print ever since. This sophisticated edition of this all-time favourite has been upcycled into this one-of-a-kind Novel Bag. The elegant design is beautifully complimented by the subtle design of the lining fabric, the handles made from an upcycled belt and the gorgeous pearl button.
