"Aussie Bush Textures"

This one has to be seen up close to appreciate the full extent of the texture, colour and luminosity of the ink work. I was so excited when I removed the cling wrap from the semi-wet inks background. It looked amazing – the colours the texture.
This is an original Mixed Media textured artwork, featuring gum leaf textures & abstract yellow Wattle. I am constantly inspired by the colours and textures I see while walking in the Australian bush and landscape. I gather collage items along the way (leaves, feathers, butterflies) and love to include them in Mixed Media projects.
