Little Red Riding Hood Cape

Take a walk to grandma’s through the deep, dark wood…

Or simply have a whole lot of fun playing fairy tale dress-ups in my beautifully sewn Little Red Riding Hood cape.

The hooded cape is made from pure Australian cotton. The outer fabric is bright scarlet (of course) and the lining is a natural-coloured floral print. The good news is you can machine wash it - very important after a day battling the big, bad wolf!

The cape fastens at the neck with two wooden buttons and has pockets for collecting little treasures found in the forest or playground.

The cotton is light enough to wear year round, yet the cape is loose enough to accommodate extra layers underneath, keeping snug during the cooler months. They are ideal for Book Week, Purim and Halloween celebrations too.

I make the capes to order in three different sizes:
• 1 – 3 years - about 30cm / 12” in length
• 3 – 5 years - about 38cm / 15” in length
• 6 – 7 years - about 44cm / 17” in length

The models in the photos are two and four years old. Please contact me if you’d like a custom cape made in a different size, or made using alternative colours, fabrics, or fastenings.

I sew the capes to order, so please allow five working days before I pack and send out to you. But do get in touch if you need one in a hurry and/or select the Express Post option at check-out.

~ Care Instructions ~
To keep your cape in optimal condition, I recommend you machine wash in cool water, line dry, and then press with a hot iron. Do not soak, tumble dry or dry clean.
