Sherlock Holmes Inspired Literary Felt Bookmark

This bookmark is inspired by Sir Arthur Conan-Doyle's famous detective Sherlock Holmes and features a silhouette of the detective against a foggy moon in a landscape of Tors.

I want to inspire a love of reading books. I have created a collection of bookmarks inspired by classic literature with this in mind. The bookmarks are hand drawn and hand cut from felt with some light machine stitching. Due to the handmade nature, there may be small variations between the photo and the item. I work in short runs using the same colours of felt so the colourways are all matching. The bookmarks each measure 8cm wide by 20cm long.

If you are creative, I think the bookmark would look great with some additional hand embroidery customization by you.
The bookmarks have been made in a smoke and pet free home. I have used fusible webbing to create the bookmark. As such it is not suitable for washing but can be restored with a press using a dry iron. The fusible webbing makes the bookmark stay soft and friendly to adding hand embroidery, should you wish.

I like to use recycled or repurposed packaging where I can when I post items.
