The Kookaburra is needle felted over wire armature legs and can be posed in limited positions. She measures 26cm (10 in) in length.

Kookaburra is made using dry needle felting techniques. The materials used are brown, white and gray/black blended merino wool roving. Her eyes are amber glass and needled/handsewn in place.

The art doll bird Kookaburra sits on his own needle felted gum tree branch or you can use your own original perch for a unique display or decorative center piece.

This soft sculpture bird is a OOAK handmade creation. Kookaburra is part of a series of needle felted animals. Made to order animals and birds are available.

Please note: While the Kookaburra is sturdily made - it is not meant to be used as a toy or by children under five or any other creature who likes to chew.
