200g DIY Make your own Beeswax Food Wraps
Beeswax Food wraps are a fantastic alternate to cling wrap. They can be used on any food except raw meat and raw fish and are great for covering bowls. 200g of premixed wax will make approximately 6 wraps depending on the size. A great affordable way to make your own bulk stash of beeswax wraps for your kitchen, or make some for gifts! This is also a great weekend or holiday activity for school age children.
This DIY block takes the hassle out of sourcing the separate ingredients and figuring out the ratios. It contains locally sourced Australian beeswax, food grade tree resin, jojoba oil/ organic coconut oil.
You will receive 2 blocks each weighing just over 100g to make wraps from your own fabric. The amount it makes depends on the sizes of fabric you cut, the thickness of the fabric and the method you use. However 200g makes approximately 2 large (36x36cm) 2 medium (28x28cm) and 2 small (22x22cm) wraps.
This listing is for the DIY block only. You will need to provide your own fabric and tools. (Vegetable peeler, baking paper, iron or oven, pinking shears or sharp scissors). Basic instructions included. Photos show examples of tools, fabric, and finished wraps.
