Acorn in Rose Bronze with Mookaite Beads

Price ($AUD): $55.00

Quantity:

This lovely necklace is handcrafted by myself. This piece is crafted from Rose Bronze and is a beautiful rose gold colour. It is adjustable, to wear either as a shorter or longer piece, depending on the desired look.
It is woven using macrame and incorporates Mookaite beads.

This little Acorn will enable you to carry around a very speical charm of the Mightly Oak Tree. Famed for its endurance and longevity, even today it is synonymous with strength and steadfastness.

It also has the impression of the acorn at the back of the pendant, making it attractive from both the front and back.

Mookaite: Mookaite carries an invigorating frequency of strength and vitality, and increases Life Force within the physical body. It empowers one to feel and connect with the electromagnetic energy currents of the Earth. It enables one to utilize these positive energies to increase one’s will and focus one’s personal power. Mookaite promotes an ageless spirit willing to accept change and seek new experiences, and awakens one’s natural instincts in knowing the right direction to take.

Your piece comes from a design "borrowed from Nature", lovingly crafted by hand to arrive at this one-of-a-kind item. While some pieces come from the same moulds as others, each has its own uniqueness - "no two leaves are ever the same - even though they are from the same tree".

The primary material used is Precious Metal Clay (PMC), a finely ground powder to which a binder is added. Water is used to mix a "clay" and is moulded then left to dry. Then the piece is carefully shaped & filed ready for firing. There is no wastage involved with just enough of clay used for a piece & all shavings/trimmings being reused. All wrappings can be reused, recycled or even composted.

Only the simplest tools & materials are used. Leaves & other Nature's findings are collected by foraging then returned after being used to create moulds. Much work is done by hand to get organic forms with just basic implements being utilised (such as, wooden shapers, sandpaper, hand drill, files, sharp knife and a Dremel tool). Once firing in the on-site kiln, at temperatures of 950 degrees celcius (to sintering levels), only the solid metal remains. This is then cleaned & tumbled until everything is shining before final polishing & made ready for wear.

I am more than happy to post to many different countries. If you are interested in this piece or any other piece I have listed, please message me to discuss shipping options.
