Sisters & makers ‘Freckles’ & ‘Moo’, Jorja and Grace: ‘We were making little accessories for family and thought it will be nice to share with others’

Hi our names are Jorja and Grace and we are the sister duo behind ‘Freckles&Moo’. We create jewllery, wallets, tissues holders, keyring, and tassels.

We live in Jimboomba, Queensland with our mum, dad, brother, granny, and 3 dogs.

Our interests are dragons, performing arts, our school’s environmental club, and intruments (piano, guitar, clarinet, and flute). The most important thing to us is friends and family.

We love Madeit because we like working in the community of both young and old creators, and believe great minds think alike.

We started out making things while watching tv or in our bedrooms but now we have our own space in the corner of our mums sewing studio.

At first we use to go through our mums fabric scraps and extra bits and pieces and come up with ideas and designs to make things for ourselves.

Then for our birthdays and christmas our family would buy us jewellery making kits. Now we get inspired by the lastest trends and turn them into our own style.

We were making little accessories for family and thought it will be nice to share it with others so we joined our mum at the local markets.

We picked out a bright pink marquee and our dad made us some cool stands and we made our own signs.

What we love about handmade is that people can show their creativity through their own ideas and interests.
