I created this Butter Dish on my pottery wheel from Stoneware clay, added texture by carving into the side of the lid, glazed with gorgeous marble blue which breaks to a deep bronze/black on the edges. The dome lid has an easy grip knob for safer removal of lid. The lower part of the lid has been left raw to showcase the beauty of the speckled clay, the plate has the matching edge. Store your butter or hard cheeses. Would look stunning on your bench-top and table.
