Introducing my Large Oval Verde Platter. Handmade by me in my studio on the Sunshine Coast. This oblong oval platter boasts a rich, warm clay base. The application of avocado underglaze creates a luscious green hue. Leaf like veins are carved using the sgraffito technique.

Sgraffito is a pottery technique where a design is created by scratching through a surface layer of slip or glaze to reveal the contrasting color of the clay body beneath.
